This collection is an attempt to write in the various forms of poetry. From the ballad to blues, sonnet to villanelle, renku to ghazal, and even a bit of haiku. There is even a nod to the paranelle invented by Billy Collins. The poems represent not only my observations of the world around us, but a look at how the various poetic forms can be used to describe those observations.
As with all of my poetry, my hope is to make the reader laugh, think, and sometimes cry. Written from my own observations, these poems touch on the realities of life.
