In Quacker Holler, Tennessee, in the foothills of the Smoky Mountains, the monks make moonshine to support the school and one seventy-five-year-old nun writes and self-publishes redneck vampire nun erotica.

When a recently fired reporter tries to run from the voices in her head, she focuses on finding the nun’s killer. She fears she is slipping further into madness, however, when a new voice–that of the dead nun–urges her to fulfill an unconventional final wish.

Carrying out the nun’s request might lead her to the killer–but it will also lead the killer to herself.
