Evolution of the Heart is a book of poetry that explores the understanding of love through the interaction with others. Everyone loves but just not in the same manner. Some love may give you your own version of a fairytale ending. Another type of love may leave you in a puddle of your own tears while digging into a pint of ice cream. Crazy love makes you do things you’ve never imagined you’d ever do. And often times we allow our triumphs and sorrows to overshadow who we are, how we truly feel, what we need, where we are headed, when to let go, and why we are living. Some say that time is the only cure for love, but once your heart makes that connection, it leaves a permanent imprint. There’s no hiding from love, the heart gets what the heart wants, whether or not the heart will remain complete and not broken is the scary part. But we all take that risk. The risk to ultimately be in love. To be in love with our father, mother, spouse, boyfriend, or girlfriend. Love comes in many forms. Love is the closest we get to perfection, and although no one is perfect, EVERYONE deserves love!
