Cities have been around since the Old Testament was penned. In Jonah, we read that God declared: Should I not care about the great city of Nineveh, which has more than 120,000 people who cannot distinguish between their right and their left, as well as many animals? (Jonah 4:11) Today, the majority of the world’s population live in mega-cities; cities with a lot more than the 120,000 people of Ninevah. If you think God doesn’t care about the condition of our world’s cities, think again! God cares deeply, and He desires His church to GO to the cities and fulfill the Great Commission there.
