A Paper Snowflake Christmas

Marlie can't afford to join her family on their trip during the Christmas break, but her friends have a solution: they'll host their own Christmas. The question is, where? Enter Devin, their childhood friend and mischief-maker, who spontaneously volunteers his home for their holidays. He's still got a wicked grin and a luscious voice. The catch? He's got custody of his four-year-old nephew, a boy who's never had a real Christmas.

Years ago, Marlie was always crushing on this larger-than-life troublemaker, but she never breathed a word because her family would have disapproved. Through all of high school, she kept her head down, folding origami cranes and cutting paper snowflakes. This year, everyone's caught up in the rush of decorating, cooking, and giving a preschooler his first magical Christmas...but if she gets brave enough to unfold her paper snowflake heart, maybe Marlie can have one, too.
