Sometimes, you’re just in the wrong place at the wrong time. For Jo Byrne, owner of The Turning Wheel, wrong place-wrong time perfectly describes her friendship with Assumpta Mary-Margaret O'Connor. Currently, Assumpta possesses a medallion designed to control demons-and the demons will stop at nothing to recover it. Jo finds herself the target of a death curse, the first in a series of the demons’ magical attacks. Unfortunately, because Assumpta isn’t getting answers from Heaven, Jo is the only one who can save herself and anyone Assumpta has ever cared about. Breaking this curse will take Jo past the dark side of magic and into the realm of demon magic.
