This book provides the reader with the tools necessary to prevent bullying as well as reverse bullying behavior. Ten simple rules are designed to help any classroom, youth group, or organization to approach this sensitive topic. Why hummingbirds? Well that’s easy. Hummingbirds are most definitely bullies. They are territorial, they fight with other’s of their own species, and they can be mean when it comes to food sources. They are amazing to watch. While protecting their food supply, they dive bomb the others often bending their long and fragile beaks rendering them defenseless. Despite a large number of hummingbird feeders strategically placed in my yard, one very aggressive male became the main character of this story; Billy the Bully.
