What would happen if an extraterrestrial came to our planet and had the ability to heal humans of all of their illnesses and disabilities? It is more than likely that most of humanity would gladly welcome the friendly visitor … except for a small class of individuals who had the most to lose from the visitor’s presence.

Uri 2 is the beloved crown prince of Xafio, a utopic planet on the other side of the galaxy. Like all Xafion aliens, Uri possess the ability to heal any individual of any type of ailment or disability. He is the only child of his parents, Victor 1 and Edie A. While he’s at times, a bit naive and restless, Uri has a heart of gold and is more than eager to use his healing abilities on anyone who needs his help. When the existence of the earth and the primitive, sickly human race is discovered, Victor 1 commissions a team of his most experienced Xafion Healers to go to earth and to initiate their mission in New York City before continuing onto other human territories. It is at this time that Uri sees an opportunity to finally get his hands dirty and indulge in his love of healing and saving lives. After some haggling, Victor 1 and Edie A finally grant Uri their permission to accompany the earth-bound healing crew. Unfortunately, while in route to earth, Uri collides with an asteroid which causes him to lose control of his space pod, all communication with his team members … and crash land on earth.

Uri’s space pod is eventually discovered outside of Henderson, Nevada by Jaycie Nesbit, a disillusioned journalist from Jersey City, that’s visiting her mother, Priscilla. After overcoming her initial intimidation of the unknown, Jaycie agrees to drive Uri to his original destination of New York City, with her eccentric mother in tow. Once they arrive at their destination and he begins his mission at two of the major hospitals in the area, Uri suffers a rude awakening as to how things are actually done on this planet.

When two very rich and powerful men in the medical community hear about his abilities, they both decide to work in tandem with each other to obstruct Uri and get rid of him at all costs. Conrad Shelby, the social climbing Chief Physician of the Hawkins Clinic and Jackson Beale, the millionaire CEO of Arinnium Pharmaceuticals, ultimately decide that Uri is a threat to their profits and the ways of living to which they’ve become accustomed. The two men conspire to harass, intimidate, and foil Uri, Jaycie, and Priscilla at every turn, in a crafty effort to keep all of humankind blindly enslaved to the status quo state of the current healthcare system.
