Take a step back in time to a bygone era: a time of white picket fences, and rotary phones when in husbands in their suits, ties, and button-down shirts come home after their long days at the office, step through their front doors with briefcases in their hands, and exclaim more than do they ask, Where’s my dinner?

Quaint as this scene may appear to some women, it was the kind of scene that chaffed forward-thinking heroine Rose-Lyne Feld somewhere under her shirt dress (in a place of which women of her era were discouraged from speaking).

With her lucrative career and independent spirit, Rose-Lynne has little in common with most 1950s stay-at-home wives. After the women in her neighborhood start biting each other and morphing into vicious predators, Rose-Lynne is fordced to team up with a group of housewives in order to survive. The government eventually realizes men can’t be infected with the zombie virus, and they will force all women to report to camps, while the men are left at home to take care of the children, and so the housework. 1950s society crumbles as families are separated and hordes of female zombies rampage in a wild feeding frenzy.
