And then I walk into a room, in a house I’ve never been in and yet have seen, and discover a man I know, holding a gun, the body of a woman at his feet. He insists he didn’t kill her and I believe him. Because in the vision I saw he was the one who was supposed to die. Yarnall weaves an exciting tale with writing that brings the characters to life. For me, I want a strong hero who has flaws but is still alpha, and Yarnall delivered with Graham. The sexual tension is great and the story satisfying. I’ll definitely read other books by this author. Mystery Reader, Amazon reader The characters are well-written and the identity of the killer is a surprise although when revealed, I felt like I should have seen that coming. But of course, when a book is crafted this well, you have to read to the end to find out who’s behind everything. author Riccarla Roman Graham and Erin had great chemistry, and I was close to the end before I could be certain who the killer was and how he was operating.
