Mike is a former computer engineer who discovered art after retirement. His love for art started with sports photography and creating digital art. He also enjoys oil painting in several genres, including figurative art and landscapes. He has been involved in dog rescue for the past several years and has fostered a large number of dogs during this period.

Mike became interested in writing One Fine Day to inspire children to love animals and to become involved in rescue. He hopes that this book exemplifies how a small good deed of rescuing an animal can have a significant impact on an animal’s quality of life and bring joy to an adopting family.
