Thomas Jared had only one son, John Kinchin Jared, born when Thomas was 17.

Moses Alexander Jared, Jr. had 2 wives and 20 children.

Joseph Jackson Jared was a Revolutionary War hero who fought in Yorktown.

Sir Thomas Gerard was a surgeon from Lancastershire, England sent by the House of Burgesses to help set up the first settlement in St. Mary’s, Maryland.
