This book reflects the different circumstances our guests experienced when staying at our Inn; e.g.an Italian father defending his parental rights; kids adopted by foreign families and searching for their biological families; many guests dealing with drug situations with terrible consequences; stories about the loneliness of some individuals often due to a change in their personal lives or some misfortune; a despicable terrorist act some of our guests experienced at a club with whom we had a close relationship, which made us ponder about our fragile existence; plus, an unusual drama that required me to do my best to help.Sharing these experiences will remind everyone that no one is spared from becoming a character in similar stories. If you think, this will never happen to me ; think again! Unexpected life changes can occur to anyone and at any time. Recalling one of my guest’s somber and tragic phrase when he was due to fly back home after serving time for drug trafficking: If I only knew about the dangers in this adventure, I would have stayed at home.
