The druid's last battle is coming. Invaders are coming to Ireland to take what isn't theirs, again. Magic alone will not be enough to defeat them, not in a time when it is fading fast from the world thanks to those who want it, and all who use it, destroyed.

Unlike most young women her age, Neala doesn't dream of true love, the fae folk, or other girlish pursuits. She can't when her kind are being hunted down, forced to live in obscurity, or be slaughtered. She wants to stand and fight for her homeland, but her kind have all but given up, which means she may have to stand alone.
