Faith I froze when I saw him. It had been years, and he’d changed his physical appearance, but there’s no way I wouldn’t recognize Eli. We share a bond forged in childhood trauma. But are we just two drowning people who will pull each other under the surface? Max loves me and makes me happy. I wear his ring. But there’s no denying the pull Eli has on me.
