Whom Gods Destroy: The Private Investigations of Josh Slim

Innocence and Injustice. A teenage girl is found dead in a river, but not just any girl. She is the daughter of the chief-of-police. To help solve the crime without getting the press involved, the chief brings in Josh Slim, a well-known former detective, who now spends his retirement as a private investigator. As Slim starts to dig deep into the girl’s murder, he realizes the crime is closely linked to the one crime he was never able to solve.
