The car explosion that kills a pillar-of-the-community church deacon shakes the normally quiet small community of Pine Brook, Minnesota, especially Pine County sheriff’s deputy Floyd Swenson. A Minnesota BCA agent, shares news of a nearby child abduction, followed by an informant’s report of a local drug ring. The cases don’t seem to be connected but like all good cops, Floyd Swenson doesn’t believe in coincidence, especially when it comes to murder. This latest Pine County Mystery is the best to date.
