Outlandish Scotland Journey is designed to guide Outlanderites to a variety of real-world places: * Scottish locations mentioned in Diana Gabaldon's first three novels (Outlander, Dragonfly in Amber, and Voyager). * Scottish sites that inspired--or resemble--Diana's grandly-evocative, fictional location descriptions. * Scottish film sites seen on screen in the STARZ network Outlander TV series. * Scottish places where significant events occurred during the 1745 Jacobite rebellion--sometimes earlier Jacobite-related events.
Part Five of Outlandish Scotland Journey consists of 15 Outlandish places (including Film Sites) located within the City of Edinburgh (including Edinburgh Castle), and nearby: Signet Library, Tweeddale Court, The World's End Pub, Old Tolbooth & Canongate Kirk, Bakehouse Close, White Horse Close, Holyrood Palace & Abbey, Summerhall Anatomy Lecture Theatre, Craigmillar Castle, Prestonpans Battlefield, Gosford House, Preston Mill, Glencorse Old Kirk, Midlothian, and Roslin Glen Ruins.
Part Six of Outlandish Scotland Journey is unusual. It consists of only 3 locations, and none of them are Outlander-related. If you'll be traveling in the Aberdeenshire area, however, these places should not be missed: Castle Fraser, Easter Aquhorthies Stone Circle, and Loanhead of Daviot Stone Circle. Because Part 6 is so small, its eBook is FREE! You can download it from the Part 6 eBook page of our website: http: //outlandishscotland.com/outlandish-scotland-journey-ebook-part-6/
