Sometimes, your own thoughts can consume you. When you refuse to give those thoughts consideration, they can take on a life on their own. Shawn refuses to believe the thoughts in his own head, but his brain demands to be heard. It creates a hallucinatory figment of Shawn that only he can see and hear. This skewed version nurtures fears of self-loathing and depression, attempting to drive Shawn mad, and ultimately, get him to end his life. Will his brain snap, or is it possible to defeat your own subconscious? Displacement: The Graphic Novel, collects all 3 issues in the Displacement mini-series. The entire series has been reformatted with new panel borders. It only includes the original opening paragraphs of each issue, as well as the original covers for all 3 issues.
