The Adventures of Alex the Vegetarian Coyote

In the state of California, between the Sierra Nevada and Cascade mountain ranges, lies the great Valley of San Joaquin. It was in this valley that a coyote pup was born. Were it not for fate, and a lop eared rabbit named Bernice; this coyote would have ended up like every other coyote that had come before him. Is change possible? Can animals–or humans, for that matter–change their fate? The Adventures of Alex the Vegetarian Coyote follows an unlikely friendship from fields of broccoli to dangerous vineyards, from train-cars to carnivals, with adventure and discovery at every turn.
