I was inspired to write Poppy’s Blue Apron to honor my grandson Andrew Sweet’s caring final moments with his grandfather known as Poppy, Fred Schroder. I want to help other parents and grandparents so that they can provide care and support for their children as they say goodbye to a dying grandparent.
