Nuns, Nam & Henna is an honest and straightforward account of the author’s story told in poetry and prose. This chapbook starts under the guidance of Catholic nuns in heavy woolen habits and bonnets that covered all traces of hair. And ends with observations of equally modest dressed Moroccan women wearing cotton djellabas with pointed hoods. Sandwiched in between are sensual Vietnamese women with long black hair in black silk trousers. The author writes with humor when he can and writes with an absence of victimhood - all the time.
