My Brother’s Keeper

An urban-fiction novel of two young black males growing up in the most violent gang-infested neighborhoods- slums of Pittsburgh where only the strong survive. Li?l Loc and Pretty Boy were raised as brothers, but were separated shortly after turning sixteen. Now living in different areas of Pittsburgh, the lure of easy money entices each of them unto rival gangs. Violent crime, mayhem, and murder become routine. The need to avenge the murder of their fathers brings the two together once again. Will they be able to set aside their gang affiliations and work together to revenge their fathers? deaths, thus strengthening their childhood ties and proving that each is indeed his brother’s keeper?
