Spinning the Arrow of Time

This is a collection of poems marked by diversity: whimsical poems that personify planets, comets, and even subatomic particles stand side by side with poems about the natural world, and these take their place alongside poems about the supernatural world. In the words of the author:
The reader may benefit from seeing the world from a different aspect, which I have tried to present. Should you find my humorous poems entertaining, I’ve achieved an important goal. Should you be inspired, uplifted, and consoled by my religious-spiritual poems, I’ve attained yet another, even more rewarding, goal.

It is the task of every poet to speak in a special language that refines and transcends prose in a way that also engages others; that is, we must also speak for the reader, articulating what people know or what they aspire to. In spiritual poetry, we must describe an unseen world. More, we must try to capture that world, bring it into human consciousness, however fleetingly, and make it real.
