World War 1: 1914 - 1918

The Day by Day series consists of highly illustrated volumes that adopt a strictly chronological approach to military history. Each volume allows the reader to see at a glance the key battles on land, at sea and in the air, be they in the Pacific, on the Eastern Front or on the bloody beaches on D-Day. Each volume in the series includes boxes on the key individuals who shaped each campaign, plus the weapons that had a decisive impact on its outcome. For ease of reference each volume also features maps showing all the key engagements.
