Jesus: Both Lord and ChristWhen it comes to the personality and nature of our Creator, people often fail to recognize Him for who He really is, and what He means to every living creature on Earth. Some people call Him Mother Nature; some refer to Him as the Man upstairs. Still others refuse to recognize Him at all-perhaps hoping He will just overlook them altogether. God has made Himself known to man in the person of His only begotten Son Jesus Christ. Christ is called in Scripture the King of kings and Lord of lords. He is also known under many other labels or personal characteristics which we will discuss in this book. But where you and I are concerned there is only one title that we need to recognize in this life. He is the Lord Jesus Christ. Each part of that name and title has a particular relevance to your life-an essential element where your hope for eternal life is concerned.
