Swami Durgananda was a mother of three children when she met Swami Sivananda Radha. After receiving a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree and masters in Education in Philadelphia, she taught art for six years. Swami Durgananada is now the vice president of Yasodhara Ashram, where she lived and taught yoga for over 20 years.
