Peeping Tom’s Cabin: Comic Verse 1928-2008

After decades, dozens of individual publications, numerous childrens books, and inflicting his textbooks on 4 million students, X.J. Kennedy is one of the most beloved names in poetry. His name will be instantly recognizable to poetry buyers. That name recognition should be capitalized on as much as possible. This is Kennedy’s first book of light verse for adults, so the novelty of this publication in his larger oevure should be emphasized as well. His new book, In a Prominent Bar in Secaucus: New & Selected Poems 1955-2007 will also be published by Johns Hopkins University Press in 2007.
