An unprecedented innovation in terms of research into the emotions, each of the eight major categories of ethical/emotional terms is coded within a master three-digit coding system, a comprehensive format encompassing 1,040 individual terms. This master system schematically encompasses each of the major listings of virtues, values, and vices specified within the Western ethical tradition.
