In spite of what some may say, or believe we don’t achieve on our own. Quotes such as I am a self-made man or I did it all by myself it is my contention that we are indeed somewhat off track if we believe this. Consider the following: if we truly are self-made men, then our parents, friends, family and ancestors played no part whatsoever. We must have been born, lived, accomplished monumental tasks, set world records, overcame insurmountable obstacles, all of this was done purely by the individual’s own self initiative.
