Home for the holidays… Ronnie is on the run from a broken heart, hoping to find solace in the small town, loving family she grew up in. What she finds instead are parents pushing her to leave her job in Chicago and come home, siblings determined to find her someone new, and a childhood friend who’s grown far too handsome and interesting for his own good. Throw in an ex-fiance who’s had a suspicious change of heart, and Ronnie remembers all the reasons she left Mayville to begin with. While Ronnie left to make a life for herself in the big city, Mark has been the good son, helping his father run his construction company in Mayville. Still, with his Harvard MBA almost complete, he thinks he’s finally set to move on to bigger things…until his father’s heart attack, and a questionable business opportunity, bring him back for a Christmas of serious searching. Then he meets Ronnie again, a girl he always found too hot to handle. Now, against both their better judgments and some background scheming that could change the shape of Mayville forever, Ronnie and Mark will find out if each other’s hearts are the real gifts they’ll find under the tree.
