A Separate Star: Our Politics and Strategy for Anti-Imperialist, Anti-Colonial, and Anti-Capitalist Struggle

A Separate Star captures, in freeze frame, the political development of Red Braid Alliance for Decolonial Socialism and captures our political basis of unity, our organizational strategy, and our thinking about these politics at this particular moment.

It sets out the ideas we have established so that new members know what they’re getting themselves into, and so that we do not waste precious time marching again over old terrain. Secondly, it is an archive of our particular historical moment.

This book also shares the results of our work and thinking with a broader audience, we hope including beyond the borders of the cities, towns, and nation state where we are active. And, as we continue our struggles, this book will be useful as a record of positions we held at the outset of the third decade of the 21st century when our community struggles were mostly focused on struggles related to poverty, outside workplaces.
