Original People, Original Television

Original People, Original Television is the behind-the-scenes account of a little known revolution in Canadian broadcasting--a journey begun in 1922 with Nanook of the North, wending its way across generations and the width and breadth of the traditional territories of the Inuit, First Nations and Metis; culminating in the 1999 launch of the world's inaugural Indigenous led broadcast, the Aboriginal Peoples' Television Network.
