S(tars) & M(agnets)

Composed entirely on an Olympia typewriter, S(tars) & M(agnets) is an experimental ‘book-of-poems’ that blends shamanism, chaos magic, and eroticism through a method that is both concrete and lyrical, traditional and avant-garde. It harkens back to the Golden Age of early Modern poetry while simultaneously reaches relentlessly for the new and unsung. It abounds in contradictions–both visionary and cliche, simplistic and extravagant–revelling shamelessly in its nostalgic naivety and innocence while never wavering from its idiosyncratic ideal to stand as a monolith in honour of poetry as a Pure Art.
