Hawke paints a vivid and sometimes terrifying dystopian picture of corporations ruling a city (and for all we know, the world)… The writing is crisp, the pace is fast, tensions are high, the descriptions vivid, and the characters crawl under your skin fast. There are quite a few twists that keeps things interesting and I cried at the end of the book. This author just got moved to my auto-buy list.
