Conservation Collection’s Critically Endangered books are a children’s non-fiction series featuring an A to Z listing of only Critically Endangered animals currently listed by the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) on their Red List of Threatened Species. The books feature the common and scientific names of each species, where they are found, how many may be left in the world, a full-colour illustration and fun facts about each animal.
Following the success of Conservation Collection’s Book One Critically Endangered: Mammals, book two, Reptiles, introduces young readers to rare and critically endangered reptiles and what they look like in order to inspire the next generation of herpetological conservationists. This book will take the reader across continents to learn about these reptiles from around the world, and why we should care for all endangered species.
With much dedication and research undertaken for this A to Z book, Conservation Collection’s Critically Endangered: Reptiles hopes to present to young readers the importance of conserving and preserving our environment and the wildlife that lives within those habitats.
