With a Little Sprinkle of Courage

When cute little Fen popped out of the egg, her father gave her some courage in a bottle. This very special present allowed her to grow and face the world. Now, the one thing she would like most is to join her fellow birds in a glorious chorus of song. She’s just not sure she is good enough, even after practising over and over again.

So simple, and yet so sweet, this adorable picture book will charm everyone, from ages 2 to 102. Fen’s little knitted hat was my very favourite part, and the look on her little face when she’s sad! It shouldn’t be possible to make a drawing so emotive! This book is sure to become a family favourite – it has certainly become one of mine.
