New York: A Tribute to the City and Its People by Gerald and Marc Hoberman

Created in honour of the innocent victims of the deadly September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks on the US, Gerald and Marc Hoberman offer this moving tribute to the city of New York and its courageous citizens. Featuring images taken in the months prior to the attacks that destroyed the World Trade Center buildings, this booklet highlights the city of New York, as well as the twin towers that stood as a symbol, not just of New York, but also of the promise and prosperity of the US. This commemorative booklet includes seven new images not found in the hardcover edition of New York , each one featuring the World Trade Center buildings, giving readers the opportunity to share in remembering the tragic events of their destruction.
