The globe-trotting Fletchers are on a once-in-a-lifetime vacation in magical Madagascar. There, Brandon and his family see many weird and wonderful creatures, including a pair of newly-discovered lemurs nicknamed Romeo and Juliet.

Unfortunately, all is not well in paradise. A day after their discovery, the lemurs disappear, kidnapped to be sold in the international pet trade. Eleven-year-old Brandon has been dropped in the middle of a new mystery!
