The Usurper is dead.

Retribution has come for the MacCathains. Aine and Caolan have been snatched into Faerie.

Terrified and alone, Cornelius is forced to make a deal with the last person he can trust if he is to

have any hope of saving them. But he cannot simply walk in and take them; trouble is brewing in

Faerie...

The Queens of Faerie are determined to wage war on the mortal realm and need the blood of

changelings to re-open the Veil. Aine and Caolan have been dragged into a scheme two hundred

years in the making and must rely on their wits, and each other, if they are going to survive.
