The Body in the Cellar

With the end of the year approaching in Melbourne Detective Superintendent Michael Kent was faced with three murders to solve along with the theft from a city bank. His mentor, Commissioner Standish, had resigned and the incoming acting commissioner was an unknown quantity.

Then, to top it all, a confessed murderer presented himself and related how he had killed his wife in England. He asked to be sent back there for trial.
