This book was created by Nancy Moses-Bennett (a Speech

Language Pathologist) to assist parents and caretakers of

children, in building vocabulary, sentence structure, and speech

skills while playing.

The book is easy to follow and includes pictures to support the

activities presented. It is a guide with samples of activities that

can easily be replicated and expanded to fit a variety of situations.

The book includes specific suggestions for games and activities,

as well as, ways to build vocabulary, sentence structure and

improve speech clarity, i.e. pronunciation of words. These

suggestions are simple to implement and can improve overall

communication skills. They are natural ways to build vocabulary in

general conversation, as well as, during everyday activities and

structured play.
