This is a gentle story about the co-operation between two different species on a distant planet to achieve a common goal.

There is no envy, greed, hatred, jealousy, racism or discrimination on this planet, where the only dangers are from the fearsome sparkosaurus or harmful radiation from a little blue sun.

Matt Hew had become the reluctant leader of the Clinch people and the adopted leader of the Chonk in a project to supply water from a distant lake to a nearby clay pit. Both Clinch and Chonk had lost many of their species whilst collecting essential water from the lake due to being eaten by the ferocious sparkosauri and both species agreed that they needed to find a way to get the water safely to their communities. Matt had to solve many problems and overcome many difficulties during the course of the project and this story tells you how he managed it.

Besides having to work near the lake where the sparkosauri roamed Matt and his Clinch comrades also had to be aware of the periodic danger in the sky from the harmful radiation from a little blue sun.

Matt, besides being a good problem solver, was also very safety conscious and organised the work force he was in charge of accordingly. He would not allow the slow moving Chonks or his beloved Lamirons anywhere near the lake during the project and always made sure there were lookouts posted in dangerous areas.
