This book is the first in a series of stories covering the adventures and everyday occurrences of Oliver the oily Oliver tractor, farmer Joe, his family and the workers at Lingcroft Farm. All of the situations described are real or could be and the intention is to use the stories to further the realistic knowledge of children through stories that are read by parents to their children, or competent children to enjoy reading on their own.
