It Never Snows At This Temperature

In 2020 Covid arrived, changing our lives forever. The world became very tiny as we lost our freedom to roam whenever and wherever we pleased. Only leaving the house for walks or masked-up waiting in line to enter the grocery store, a very unusual scene in this part of the world. What to do with these long days caged in our homes. A time to ponder one's life. Why not write about that life, and so began the story of Doug, an ambitious youngster, growing up in a family supported by the forest industry. Doug along with 4 of his five siblings joined the multitudes who earned a living cutting down trees for fun and profit. Doug spent over thirty years with a number of forest companies around the province, always looking for ways to make improvements in the work place and to make a better life for his family.
