e-Learning, along with blended learning, has become an essential and widely adopted method for delivering education and training at all levels, including in the workplace. The International e-Learning Excellence Awards offer a platform for individuals and teams to explore and showcase innovative approaches to this mode of learning.
This year's response to the tenth International e-Learning Excellence Awards demonstrates the ongoing creativity in e-learning across the globe. With 22 initial submissions from 10 different countries, 18 competitors were invited to submit detailed case histories outlining their initiatives. The case histories covered a broad range of topics, making it a challenging task for the panel of expert judges, who conducted a blind review to identify the most compelling submissions and narrow them down to the finalists featured in this anthology.
8 authors or groups of authors have been invited to present their work in the final rounds of this competition at the 2024 European Conference on e-Learning, being held at the University of Portucalense, Porto, Portugal, and as finalists these initiatives are published in this book of case histories. The topics to be addressed are listed in the Contents page of this book and represent projects from Hong Kong, Hungary, India. Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Portugal, South Africa, Switzerland and the United States.
