The Knowledge Management and Intellectual Capital Excellence Awards have been held annually for eight years. This year we received 9 case histories for our consideration. After an initial evaluation of the abstracts and full review of the case histories which made it to the second round, we are pleased to present the five finalists in this anthology.
Each of these case histories demonstrate innovative and creative examples of knowledge management or intellectual capital implementation, covering a range of applications including the use of Knowledge cafes in enhance the student experience, KM as a program for organizational change, knowledge sharing and KM as a means to fostering innovation. The case histories this year illustrate a diverse group of ideas from Finland, Iran. Switzerland, Netherlands and the UK.
