Elijah Grey has lived his fifteen years of life so far, in a small cabin on the edge of a forest with his mother Burda and faithful canine companion Ranger. He has always known that Burda and Ranger were, shall we say, quirky and ever so slightly "out of the box labelled ordinary, normal, and like other mothers and pets" but they suited him and that was all that mattered. Then one Saturday morning, all of that changed forever. He was no longer just Elijah Grey, he was Elijah Grey son of Egreya, former Queen of Greylea, the world into which he had been unceremoniously hauled in order to escape those out to kill him before he could become the powerful being that he was destined to become.
