Addison gets hired for the job of stage assistant at the local theatre. Little did she know, the job is a lot harder than it seems. Addy promised herself no distraction, but that becomes unbearably difficult when she meets the lead actor, Jake, and falls head over heels. She tries to keep her distance, although that becomes difficult when the director makes them work in constant close contact.
