The Magical Adventures of Squishville is written as a continued series of short stories about squirrels that live in enchanted mushroom houses. Each evening they eat Grandma Squash’s special secret mushroom soup as Grandpa Squish recalls magical tales from the past. The little squirrels, called squishes and squashes, gather each evening at Grandpa Squish & Grandma Squash’s mushroom house to listen.

The first in the series ‘Welcome to Squishville’ is about a sad little Squish called Bruni, who is found in a grey mushroom house on the edge of Squishville.

One of the aspirations for the books was to introduce children to mindfulness through funny stories and larger than life characters. The books are hoping to help young readers become more aware of their thoughts and actions so that they are able to make better choices and decisions that will help them live a full and happy life.

The first book in the series ‘Welcome to Squishville’ looks at how gratitude can build a positive mindset. At the end of each story a secret mission is given. Each mission hopes to help children create a positive outlook on life.
